A multivitamin formulation with high dose and active vitamin forms, with excellent bioavailability of minerals and trace elements, specifically designed for those who want to simplify their daily vitamin supplementation.
Important: WTN Multivitamin Comfort is a magnesium-free product, so it is recommended to supplement its use with magnesium. As a compromise solution, this is the only way to fit the excellent active ingredients of WTN Multivitamin Complex into 3 capsules per day without magnesium.
Although WTN Multivitamin Comfort is a compromise solution in terms of our own values, there is still a significant difference in quality compared to other multivitamins. We remain committed to the use of bioactive forms of vitamins despite the fact that they are much more expensive.
If you want a cheap but good multivitamin then go for WTN Multivitamin Comfort, and if you want a very good multivitamin then stick with WTN Multivitamin Complex.
How is WTN Multivitamin Comfort superior to other similar products?
- It contains all the vitamins and trace elements in the right daily dosage, and there are no expensive ingredients (e.g. vitamin K2).
- Thanks to its high folate and choline content, it is also suitable as a maternity vitamin for pregnant women when supplemented with magnesium.
- It contains highly bioavailable, active molecular forms that are readily utilized by the body.
- All ingredients are transparently labelled so that the consumer can see exactly how much is in each component.
- It does not contain any molecular forms that could trigger a degradation reaction, which could cause some of the vitamins to decompose during storage. E.g.: ascorbic acid (and synthetic vitamin E) breaks down B vitamins (the expensive magnesium ascorbate form does not).
- The capsules are completely additive-free, with no unnecessary technological aids that are hard on the body, such as silica or magnesium stearate.
- They do not contain iron, because iron supplementation is counterproductive in several ways.
- It does not contain calcium because the majority of the adult population does not need it (those who do can supplement separately).
- It does not contain manganese because most people do not need it.
What is the price of convenience?
Compared to WTN Multivitamin Complex, WTN Multivitamin has a convenience price:
- We put everything in one capsule, so there is no multiplier effect, meaning the ingredients will compete with each other for absorption and utilization (timely separate vitamin supplementation greatly improves bioavailability).
- No plant phytomatrix, resulting in slightly poorer bioavailability compared to WTN Multivitamin Complex.
- Carotenoids (vitamin A) from organic red palm and high quality tocotrienols from vitamin E have been omitted because if they were included in the product in concentrations to be truly effective, they would have significantly increased the price of the product.
- The amino acids, myo inositol, and organic brown seaweed (which is replaced by potassium iodide as the source of iodine) have been omitted because they take up a lot of physical space in the capsules (brown seaweed alone would fill a full capsule). In sufficient concentration, iodine supplementation from organic brown seaweed = +1 capsule
- One of the main active ingredients in fish oils, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), also did not fit in, as it alone could fill an entire capsule, compromising consumer convenience. DHA supplementation in sufficient concentration = +1 capsule
- Good bioavailability of magnesium compound (magnesium bisglycinate) also did not fit because it also takes up a lot of physical space in the capsules. Magnesium alone fills almost 3 capsules. Good bioavailable magnesium replacement in sufficient concentration = +3 capsules
So the substances mentioned in the last 3 points alone fill at least 5-6 capsules, and that's not counting the vitamins and trace minerals.
What does the product not contain?
For convenience, we have compromised and WTN Multivitamin Comfort does not contain magnesium, so you should supplement it in a form that suits you.
To help you with magnesium supplementation, you can use WTN Magnesium Complex Cream or WTN Magnesium Bisglycinate.
Whilst magnesium bisglycinate is generally a really excellent source of magnesium that is well and easily utilised, it can be used without side effects even with a sensitive digestive system. Note: not recommended in the presence of oxalate sensitivity.
WTN Multivitamin Comfort does not contain calcium, iron and manganese for the following reasons:
Calcium: calcium deficiency can often be caused by vitamin D deficiency. To prevent deficiencies, it is advisable to support the absorption of calcium (instead of calcium supplementation) by supplementing with vitamins D3, K2, A, magnesium, ensuring optimal gastric acidity and sufficient quality and quantity of exercise.
However, if calcium supplementation is really necessary (e.g. menopause, milk protein allergy), it is always best to choose a good quality calcium in organic form (e.g. calcium bisglycinate, calcium malate).
Iron: in developing this product, we have taken into account the research that has highlighted the harmful effects of excess iron. We therefore believe that iron supplementation is not for everyone.
Manganese: we share the view that a natural and varied diet rarely or never leads to manganese deficiency, as the daily requirement of manganese (2-3mg) can be easily met by eating plant foods, fish, shellfish, various seeds. However, manganese overdose and toxicity can cause unpleasant conditions, especially nervous system symptoms and diseases. For this reason, we believe that if a multivitamin contains manganese, it is more of a risk factor than a benefit.
