Superfoods
Superfoods are considered the kings of food. They are unique in their nutritional content, containing most of the vitamins and minerals our body needs to function, and may also contain extra active ingredients.
We offer a range of incredibly nutrient-dense foods, so-called superfoods. These superfoods include:
- Chia seeds: high in protein, high in fibre and high in Omega 3. When added to food (especially carbohydrate-rich foods), it reduces the amount of food-induced blood sugar surges. Its Omega-3 content has strong anti-inflammatory effects. It also helps to supplement your daily protein intake.
- Pistil husk: it contains a very special fibre (called arabinoxylalan) which will bind with water to form a gel-like substance. It can be an effective remedy for constipation, but only if you drink a lot of water, it makes constipation worse. So, drink at least 3 litres a day if you consume pistil husks.
- Spirulina: a marine algae, also high in fibre and Omega 3, it also has a special active ingredient called chlorophyll, which is a very powerful antioxidant, so it protects against free radicals that damage cells - a pseudo-health-promoting effect.
We also offer a range of vegetable concentrates, which combine the health benefits of a variety of vegetables, concentrated to 1 teaspoon of a significant amount of essential vitamins and minerals.
These vegetable concentrates can be blended into smoothies, drunk on their own or added to your meals to significantly enrich the nutritional content of your meals.
