As we age, their production may decline and they may need to be replaced. Collagen may be useful in the case of increased stress on joints (physical activity, heavy work, overweight). It is recommended for the elderly because it cares for tendons and joints (knees, ribs, hands and spine), helps to keep the skin supple and fresh, and moisturises it. As the skin ages, it loses its ability to regenerate and stops producing natural collagen, which reduces its elasticity, firmness and wrinkles.

• Collagen is the basic building material of connective tissues, cartilage (40% collagen). The peptides in fish collagen do not burden the digestive system and are easily absorbed.
• Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs in the body and is found in all living organisms. It is a part of connective tissue and nerve fibres, and is found in large quantities in the eye, joint fluid and skin. It fills the intercellular spaces in skin cells.
