Food supplement containing Mio-inositol.

Inositol (vitamin B8) is a vitamin-like substance, a non-essential member of the B-complex family - it is not classically a vitamin as it can be produced by the body.

Bio-inositol is essential for intercellular communication, it is essential for the proper functioning of several brain signalling systems by helping to improve the sensitivity of different receptors (nerve endings that receive stimuli) - it therefore plays a very important role in signal transduction processes. Inositol has a total of 9 different forms, the two most commonly used and most researched natural forms being mio-inositol and d-chiro-inositol.

The mio-inositol used in our product is the most stable form of inositol. It occurs naturally mostly in fruits, beans, whole grains and nuts. It is found in the cell membranes of our body, with highest concentrations in the brain and central nervous system.
