How is WTN Nano Q10+ superior to other similar products?
- It contains Q10 in a water soluble form, which results in superior bioavailability. Unlike solid Q10 formulations, which have very poor bioavailability.
- Q10 is contained in droplets with a diameter of about 200 nanometres, which further increases bioavailability compared to smooth (liquid) emulsions (sizing was performed by photon correlation spectroscopy, dynamic laser scattering (DLS)).
- All this was achieved using only natural materials and the product does not contain synthetic polysorbates*. This is important because almost all water-soluble Q10 supplements are made with synthetic polysorbates.
- The highest possible purity and organic quality excipients have been used to minimise the effects of potential contaminants.
- No excess oil intake is required when supplementing with Q10. The bioavailability of oil-soluble Q10 products is adequate (although significantly below the efficiency of water-soluble Q10), but they have the disadvantage of requiring a lot of oil to be eaten/drunk, sometimes up to a tablespoon.
*Polysorbates have the potential to contain ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane, which can cause carcinogenicity, skin allergies and toxic effects on our reproductive organs and fetal development. Polysorbate is a histamine-releasing agent, so it is not recommended for use in migraines, asthma, eczema, other skin allergies, etc.
Polysorbates with a dubious reputation are also commonly listed under other names on product packaging. But they are all polysorbates: common brand name: "Tween", chemical name: polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate.
Interesting facts
1. If a water-soluble Q10 product does not contain orange or lemon oil, it is 99.9% that it is made with polysorbate. The reason for this is that the technological pathway to Q10 water solubility requires Q10 to be dissolved in something first. It's just that it is very poorly soluble in various conventional oils, but excellent in polysorbate.
2. It is important to know that there is no solid form (powder, tablets, capsules) of nanoemulsion Q10. Technically, the emulsion can only be a liquid. Solid state Q10 dissolved in water cannot be nano sized, so the 'nano' label/brand name on these is for marketing purposes only. In addition, solid but water soluble Q10s are invariably made with polysorbates, but this is not stated on the label.
3. How is WTN nano Q10+ different from Q10 products called organic? Q10 only has an organic form, there is no inorganic form. Therefore it is pointless to point out that it is organic, it is just empty marketing slogan of some companies, it means nothing.
In what cases should you use it?
Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring compound essential for cellular energy production and protection against oxidative stress. As its biosynthesis decreases with age, it may be worth looking for external replacement after the age of 30, as its deficiency can be associated with degenerative conditions such as neurological disorders (e.g. Parkinson's, Alzheimer's), cardiovascular disease, gum problems, diabetes, liver and brain dysfunction.
Furthermore, certain medications can also significantly reduce the production of Q10 in the body. These may include:
- cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins, fibrates),
- beta-blockers,
- antidepressants (tricyclic antidepressants),
- antidiabetic drugs (sulphonylureas),
- cardiovascular drugs (e.g. beta-blockers, vasodilators),
- diuretics (thiazide diuretics),
- psychotherapeutic drugs (phenothiazine derivatives, thioxanthen derivatives).
How does the product work?
Coenzyme Q10 plays a key role in cellular energy production and is known as a powerful antioxidant. It is found in higher amounts in the cells of the heart, lungs, spleen, liver, kidneys, pancreas and adrenal glands. It can be produced by the human body through internal secretion, but as we age, both its production and concentration within the body decline.
Externally ingested Q10 (CoQ10) is only really effective if some form of adequate absorption is ensured. In the case of WTN Nano Q10+, this is significantly greater than with other Q10 products due to its water solubility and nano size range.

You may legitimately ask yourself whether to choose WTN Q10 ultra or WTN Nano Q10+.
WTN Q10 ultra contains Q10 in its active form (ubiquinol). Studies suggest that ubiquinol is a more effective supplement formula for digestive problems or for the majority of older people (over 55), compared to ubiquinone, as it no longer needs to be reduced to its active form by the body.
While WTN Nano Q10+ contains Q10 in an oxidised form (ubiquinone), which is the precursor to ubiquinol (the body makes ubiquinol from it), as the name suggests, Q10 is present in a water soluble form, which is more effective in raising ubiquinone levels than the fat soluble form, and is therefore also suitable for Q10 supplementation. It is particularly beneficial for those who may have trouble swallowing capsules.
