FLAXSEED OIL INGREDIENTS
Flaxseed is rich in vitamin E, which helps protect cells against oxidative stress. It contains high levels of the essential Omega-3 fatty acid (alpha-linolenic acid), which cannot be produced by the body and must be supplemented from external sources.
Replacing saturated fatty acids in the diet with unsaturated fatty acids helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels (the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)).
As flaxseed oil contains more ALA per serving than the flaxseed itself, it provides an excellent opportunity to increase ALA intake.
FLAXSEED OIL AND FISH OIL
Fish oil extracts are also an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, but they are mainly dominated by eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are complemented by the Omega-3 fatty acid source in flaxseed oil, so it is possible to combine the two sources of Omega-3 fatty acids (fish and flaxseed).
Natur Tanya® Flaxseed Oil is a golden-yellow coloured, premium quality oil with a distinctive taste.
FLAXSEED OIL IN THE KITCHEN
The distinctive taste of flaxseed oil is reminiscent of freshly shelled walnuts, which blends harmoniously with a wide range of foods and flavours, and offers the opportunity to get your daily dose of Omega-3 fatty acids from a plant source.
It can be used on its own or blended into smoothies, cold dishes such as yoghurt or salads (it also goes well with oranges, honey and mustard), but flaxseed oil is also great in fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies.
USE BOTH EXTERNALLY AND INTERNALLY!
FLAXSEED OIL EXTERNALLY
The moisturising, nourishing and emollient properties of the essential fatty acids in flaxseed oil help to improve skin texture.
It is highly recommended to protect the skin in cold, cool and windy weather. It can be used not only on the skin of the face, but all over the body. As an after-sun lotion, it helps to prevent peeling, soothe and regenerate the skin.
Flaxseed oil is perfect for minor household skin injuries (punctures, cuts and bruises) to speed up the healing process.
You can also apply flaxseed oil directly to your hair, just like a hair conditioner. It will make your hair stronger and shinier. Flaxseed oil can be added to shampoos, hair conditioners, masks, hand and face creams.
Flaxseed oil is a carrier oil, which means that it can be used not only on its own, but also mixed with other cold pressed oils (e.g. grapeseed oil) or essential oils (e.g. tea tree oil).
DIRECTION (1 serving = 0)
Use 1-2 tablespoons daily on its own or add it to smoothies, cold dishes, yoghurt or salads. It has a great flavour with oranges, honey and mustard. Due to its low smoke point, it should not be heated! Massage externally into the skin and nails.
STORAGE
Store in a dry, cool place away from light and heat! After opening, the oil can be stored away from sunlight for up to 2 months. If stored in a refrigerator, the oil may become cloudy, but this is a natural process and has no effect on the quality of the product.
