Lutein, zeaxanthin
Compounds that are found naturally in plants and are converted to vitamin A within the body. These two compounds are most abundant in the lens of the eye and in the central part of the retina and their deficiency contributes to the development of vision problems such as cataracts and macular degeneration with age.
DHA
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), an omega-3 fatty acid, is essential for the proper functioning of the eye, as it is present in high amounts in the retinal membrane. Just one capsule a day provides the 250 mg of DHA needed for proper vision.
Zinc
ALBION ® contains hypoallergenic, world patented zinc amino acid chelate (zinc bisglycinate), which can be absorbed at the cellular level thanks to the chelate bond. Zinc contributes to the secretion of vitamin A by the liver and protects the eyes against macular degeneration, which usually occurs in older age.
Vitamin A
