Liver is not only the richest source of ready-to-eat vitamin A, it's a real nutrient bomb.
Steamed carrots and pumpkin are also a great source of vitamin A (via carotenes), which also contain many other beneficial nutrients.
So it's better to get our vitamin A needs from these than to replace them. Unfortunately, many people dislike or avoid liver, while carrot/pumpkin consumption is not preferred. For them we recommend our product, especially if they also take vitamin D3. We recommend supplementing them with the same or up to twice as much vitamin A IU as the amount of vitamin D3 IU they consume.
