There are two forms of lactic acid: D-lactic acid and L-lactic acid. These are converted into D-lactate and L-lactate in the body. Healthy people have almost only L-lactate in their blood, which is an important nutrient for the heart and brain, among other things.

In our product, the magnesium is exclusively bound to the L-form of lactic acid, which not only allows for better absorption of magnesium, but also provides the beneficial L-lactate without the D-lactate. It also makes you less prone to loose stools than many other forms of magnesium.

Consumption recommendation:

Consume 2g (about 1tbsp) daily, preferably in two portions (especially if taken at once would cause looser stools than usual). Can be mixed into any liquid, best consumed with meals. For children: in proportion to body weight, based on an adult's body weight of 60 kg.
