Finding the perfect desire booster is no less a task than hunting down the Golden Horn with Cupid’s Arrow. Yet for this Valentine’s Day, Vitamin360 brings you the products that actually work! Having scoured the maze of the internet, we can confidently say: these products do work! Even before we describe the active ingredients that are worth spending money, let’s take a look at what are the effects you shouldn’t expect from these products?

What not to expect from a desirability booster?

A male or female libido enhancer will not solve your relationship problems. There are vannak coaches, self-awareness training and relationship therapists for that.

A herbal supplement will not solve erectile dysfunction or even vaginal dryness. That’s what doctor is for.

Furthermore, these are not occasional pills to be taken before the act, but will have long-lasting effects.

But what can we guarantee?

Natural products work by restoring balance. So first we need to do some reasoning. Let’s look at some of the problems (along with their causes) where these products can help:

  1. You’ve finally met a lady or genteman with whom chemistry works, but when it could (or has) turned into something more, you feel you’re not performing well?
  2. You've been with your partner for a long time, but you're feeling less and less desirous of the act? Do you find it hard even though he's doing his best and he's eager?
  3. Are you so tired at the end of the day that you don't have the energy to "work" in bed?
  4. Are you underperforming not only in bed, but also at work and in training?
  5. Did your complaints first start over forty?

1. In the first case the cause is likely to be psychological.

Everybody is afraid of the act at first, but often our fears prevent us from being ourselves. If you've known yourself, you'll probably find other tasks difficult to cope with - we're only talking about tasks that push you out of your comfort zone, of course. In such cases, a supplement containing adaptogenic herbs will be a super choice for you.1,2 These natural extracts work through amazing effects that are only partially understood by researchers. Their mechanism is this: they provide stability against stress effects without increasing oxygen demand.2 In other words, they optimise the hormonal response to stress. I'm sure your heart almost skipped a beat before your first kiss. What if we told you that you could act more confidently and calmly in such situations?

Life Extension Enhanced Stress Relief will help you do just that! It contains lemongrass extract for adaptogenic effects and a special amino acid. Namely: L-theanine, which is able to reduce the levels of "excitability" neurotransmitters, even reducing the rate of blood pressure surges in stressful situations.14

If you want to rely solely on the effects of adaptogenic herbs, Rosehip Complex is a good choice. It combines the effects of five different herbs in one formula!

2. In the second case, the reason is less clear.

In addition to psychological causes, there may also be physical causes. Hormones that control sexual desire:

  • Testosterone, the hormone of masculinity.
  • Estrogen, the hormone responsible for feminine traits.
  • Oxytocin, the so-called love hormone.
  • Dopamine, the hormone of happiness and addiction. 3-7

The interplay of these hormones is a complex process and yet can be summarised simply:

  1. Sensory (sight, hearing, touch) sexual influences trigger hormonal effects. That is, they temporarily increase levels of testosterone, estrogen, oxytocin and dopamine.
  2. These hormones peak during orgasm, after which they remain at higher levels for some time. This is why a euphoric feeling prevails during and after the orgasm, but the effect of these hormones soon wears off.

The problem starts when the levels of hormones circulating in the blood drop. This means that the sexual stimulus no longer triggers hormone production. This can happen because:

  • Ageing reduces the levels of sex hormones.8
  • Depression lowers dopamine and oxytocin levels.9,10
  • Higher levels of cortisol - i.e. excessive stress - will also reduce dopamine levels.11 And cortisol levels can be increased by both mental and physical stress.

The recipe for increasing libido is:

  1. Lowering cortisol levels by finding the optimal (exercise, work) workload and using mental tension release exercises (yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques). Also, using stress-relieving supplements such as Rosehip Complex, Life Extension Enhanced Stress Relief.
  2. Stimulate sex hormone levels:
  • For men: the aim will be to increase testosterone levels. Life Extension: Testosterone Elite is particularly effective for this. This product is based on a patented innovation called Tesnor®, a precise blend of cocoa beans and pomegranate rind extract. Nothing demonstrates the power of Tesnor® better than a study in healthy young men, which showed increased testosterone levels and increased clamping force.15
  • For women:
    • If you're well into menopause, Life Extension: Estrogen For Women - a hormone optimizer containing natural extracts (broccoli, dong quai, licorice, common spruce) and concentrate (soy isoflavone) may be a good choice. It's important to note that if you have a gynaecological problem or are bothered by symptoms of oestrogen dominance, this product may not be right for you. Be sure to consult a doctor before taking it.
    • If you have already started to show symptoms of menopause, you may want to try Life Extension Menopause 731 (containing Siberian Rhubarb Extract).16

3., 4. In the third and fourth cases, fatigue must be treated first.  To do this, you'll need a super-powered vitamin to replenish the minerals and B vitamins lost during your busy days.12,13 It also provides you with recovery-boosting ingredients such as Omega 3, L-carnitine, L-tryptophan and coenzyme Q10. Life Extension's Full Spectrum Multivitamin provides all of these nutrients (and more). With this, you won't need anything else to manage chronic fatigue!

5. In the fifth case, it is clear that a natural decrease in sex hormones is causing your problems. Above forty, pronounced desire enhancers will be hormone restorers!

  • For men: cherry melon extract (tribulus), D-aspartic acid (DAA), zinc, vitamin D and L-arginine have been scientifically proven to stimulate testosterone levels, but only if they were almost initially lower, if they are high they will not cause further increases. Nutrend Tribulus Terrestris Turbo also contains added zinc. And Nutriversum DAA Capsules are one of the best value for money.
  • For women: Life Extension Menopause 731: contains a high dose of an extract of a herb (Siberian rhubarb) long used in traditional medicine. It is used to effectively reduce the symptoms of menopause; hot flushes, sweating, depression and to optimise sex hormone levels.16

+1: Is dissatisfaction with your own body affecting your relationship?

Gentlemen, if that's the case, get to the gym! To build muscle, you won't need any extras at first, just a good vitamin and a protein supplement to fuel your muscles. With the right amount of protein, you're replenishing the essential building blocks (the amino acids that build protein) needed to rebuild muscle protein. And with vitamins, you 'oil' this process by acting as a catalyst in many biological processes.

Ladies, if so, you know what to do! A bit of exercise, a bit of diet, then a haircut, a piercing, a manicure, and finally maybe some new clothes wouldn't hurt! ???? The money you have to spend is almost endless, but you can do it with minimal amounts. The point is to do for yourself. We at Vitamin360 have brought you the perfect value for money internal beauty vitamin. Fitness Authority: Beauty Elixir, provides all the nutrients you need to feel healthier as a woman! Because remember, beauty comes from a healthy insides!

Good advices

As you can see, depending on the source of your problems, there are plenty of nutritional supplements that can help to spice up your relationship. Supplements based on herbal extracts are generally considered safe, but it is important to remember that whatever health problem you are experiencing, you should first find out if the individual ingredients are safe for you. This is particularly true for those that affect hormone balance.

The Vitamin360's team wishes you a laughter-filled and cosy Valentine's Day!
