We are thrilled (and particularly proud) to introduce our latest partner: Natural Factors, a company that has been operating since 1950! Over 75 years, many dietary supplement companies have risen and fallen, but Natural Factors has stood the test of time. This fact alone could be a guarantee of quality, but there’s an even more important "Factor" that made us eagerly anticipate this collaboration. So, what sets this brand apart from the rest?

Marketing Texts vs. Pure Facts

Everyone claims to use high-quality raw materials and to ensure the purity of their finished products. We’d like to encourage you to think critically!

Let’s ask the question: what does it take to be sure about the “purity” and “quality” of a dietary supplement?

An independent, accredited laboratory that regularly tests products — in other words, performs quality control. For Natural Factors, this control is carried out by ISURA (Canada's only independent and non-profit laboratory).

Many manufacturers conduct such tests, but not for all products! All Natural Factors products are verified by ISURA and1:

  • Non-GMO (do not contain genetically modified ingredients)
  • Tested for nearly 700 contaminants, including pesticides and herbicides
  • Unadulterated (contain no added foreign substances)
  • Certified
  • Accurate and comprehensive labeling

Let’s ask another big question: what is needed to make a supplement from high-quality raw materials?

Full control over the production process — which starts with planting the seed. But how does that become a supplement on your shelf?

For Natural Factors, everything begins at the Factors Farms2: these certified organic farms allow them to grow and harvest a portion of their raw materials. The plants grown here originate from organic, non-GMO, non-hybridized, and heirloom seeds. Before planting, these seeds undergo strict analytical and genetic testing. In some cases, they also work with trusted seed suppliers.

Another major difference is that they don’t harvest according to a pre-set schedule, but rather monitor the active ingredient concentration in the plants (which develops under the influence of sunlight). This helps farmers decide the ideal time for harvest.

What about other raw materials that can’t be grown? Natural Factors has thought of that too! They work with suppliers based on a carefully developed set of criteria. All external materials go through strict analytical testing — including checks for pesticides, heavy metals, adulterants, and many standardized tests such as genetic and non-GMO verifications.

Once the harvest (or procurement) is complete, the extraction of active ingredients begins. Natural Factors strives to carry out as many of these processes “in-house” as possible to ensure quality control. They are one of the few manufacturers who own their own extraction, encapsulation, and manufacturing facilities.

Finally, when the finished product is ready for shipment, it undergoes one last approval. As mentioned earlier, the finished products are tested by an independent lab: ISURA.

So, we can see that Natural Factors truly takes your health seriously! Because when you buy a product, you’re entrusting the manufacturer with yourself (and your health). That’s why Natural Factors operates with such a strict regulatory system.

Okay, okay, the plant-based ingredients are top quality — but what about the animal-derived ones?

Let’s picture Alaska: rushing streams flow into colorful wildflower meadows, while massive mountain peaks rise dramatically above the icy, pure waters. The northern Pacific Ocean is among the cleanest waters. This is where Natural Factors sources the salmon3 from which their 100% wild Alaskan salmon oil is made.

Additionally, the Factors Farms have their own beekeeping facilities, supporting bees (and beekeepers) who face increasingly difficult challenges.5 In fact, since 1997, Natural Factors has been an active member of the International Bee Research Association — a charitable organization that promotes the importance of bees and provides information about bee science and apiculture worldwide.

Can it get even better?

To reduce their environmental impact, Natural Factors became carbon neutral in 2022. Thanks to two of their partners (Bullfrog Power and Less Emissions), they switched from traditional fuel to biodiesel and offset their remaining emissions through compensation projects.4

Are the product formulations as high quality as the raw materials used?

Natural Factors' strength lies in their single- and dual-ingredient supplements. Their product range is extensive, so you can find a dietary supplement for almost every concern or condition.

Natural Factors C Extra + Quercetin Bioflavonoids 500 mg / 500 mg:

Super-powerful antioxidant (for general health support)! The combination of vitamin C and quercetin provides strong antioxidant effects – they may enhance each other’s impact. Together, they fight harmful substances known as free radicals. If the immune system has to do less work against toxins, it can be more effective against infections.6 Therefore, they also support the immune system indirectly. Quercetin may have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties, while vitamin C helps collagen synthesis and improves skin health.7-9

Natural Factors PQQ-10 20 mg - Coenzyme Q10 200 mg:

For youthful energy! The combination of PQQ (pyrroloquinoline quinone) and coenzyme Q10 may support energy production at the cellular level by improving mitochondrial function. It’s excellent for slowing aging, protecting the cardiovascular system, and improving brain function.10,11 Both ingredients act in similar ways (i.e., through the regulation of energy production processes), and thus can enhance each other's effects.12 This is an especially good combo for those over 50 looking to regain vitality. Of course, fatigue and physical/mental endurance are influenced by countless factors — so PQQ and coenzyme Q10 won’t solve everything, but even a small improvement can make a big difference!

Natural Factors Saw Palmetto 500 mg:

Saw palmetto is your prostate’s friend! Saw palmetto may support prostate health, especially in managing benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Numerous studies support that saw palmetto extract can reduce urinary symptoms and improve urine flow by reducing the buildup of DHT (dihydrotestosterone), which is a cause of prostate enlargement.13,14

What’s more: more and more studies confirm its positive effects on hair loss, which is also explained by its influence on DHT.15,16

Natural Factors Nattokinase 100 mg:

For improved circulation! Nattokinase is a fermented soy-based enzyme that may help improve circulation and prevent thrombosis. Research suggests that nattokinase can reduce the likelihood of blood clot formation and support cardiovascular health. The studies on its effectiveness are convincing.17,18

Natural Factors Pycnogenol 25 mg Pine Bark Extract (60 Capsules):

For antioxidant effects and cardiovascular protection! Pycnogenol, or pine bark extract, has strong antioxidant properties and may support circulation and defense against free radicals. Studies show it can reduce skin aging and support joint health. Pycnogenol is among the antioxidant supplements that are widely researched and accepted in scientific communities.19-21

Natural Factors PS Phosphatidylserine 100 mg (60 Softgels):

For brain function support! Phosphatidylserine may help improve brain function, especially memory and concentration. Research suggests it can reduce stress and improve cognitive function in older adults.22

Pro tip: It works even better when combined with Natural Factors Unbleached Lecithin, as both support cell membranes and play a role in communication between nerve cells.23

Natural Factors Super Strength Grape Seed Extract 100 mg (90 Capsules):

For youthful vitality and overall health support!

Grape seed extract has strong antioxidant effects and supports vascular health. Research suggests it may help reduce blood pressure, protect the skin, and improve heart health.24

Natural Factors PEA400 Palmitoylethanolamide (90 Veggie Capsules):

For relief from chronic pain!

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a natural compound that may help relieve pain and reduce inflammation. Research shows it can be effective for neuropathic and other chronic pain conditions.

This is a relatively recently recognized active ingredient with promising effects. Patients reported an average pain reduction of 1.8 points (on a 0–10 scale). When combined with lifestyle changes, this can be considered significant.25-27 It works through the endocannabinoid system, similarly to CBD, but its effects occur at a higher level — instead of targeting a single receptor, its action extends to several receptors.*

Natural Factors Magnesium Bisglycinate 100 plus L-Theanine 250 mg (90 Capsules):

For physical and mental relaxation!

Magnesium in bisglycinate form is easily absorbed and may help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and support muscle and nervous system function. L-theanine contributes to mental clarity and calm alertness.28-30

Natural Factors PGX Daily Ultra Matrix 750 mg (120 Softgels):

For weight management support!

PGX (polyglucosamine) may support weight loss and appetite control. Research suggests that PGX can improve glucose metabolism and promote healthy digestion.31,32

Natural Factors Total Body Multi Collagen (267 g, Unflavored):

The natural youth and beauty booster: for collagen replenishment!

Collagen supplementation may support the health of skin, hair, and nails, as well as help with joint and bone regeneration. Studies show it can improve skin elasticity and reduce joint pain.33,34

The product's specific advantages are its versatility, natural origin, and extremely high collagen content.
