Founded in 2003, AmixTM Nutrition has grown from a small company in England to a pioneering giant in the fitness industry. It was around this time that the nutritional supplement industry exploded: the early 2000s saw a dramatic increase in the number of companies offering nutritional supplements. Of the many promising companies, only a few managed to live up to their hopes. Amix was one of these successful companies! In fact, it has only grown since its inception. What is the secret? We’re going to find out!

THE TRINITY OF THE NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT INDUSTRY

It takes the perfect combination of three factors to build a timeless fitness brand. If just one of these factors is lacking, it will compromise the quality of the product.

1. Research and development

Amix factories use state-of-the-art processes to produce sports nutrition and supplements. Their range of products is in direct proportion to their rate of expansion. Grouped into 8 product lines, the offer an impressive range of over 300 different products.  Power blends… tablets… capsules… liquid formulas (gels)… and bars.

Also outstanding among these is their snack bar production line. Amazingly, they can produce 10 000 slices per hour. Thanks to their technological innovations and advanced logistics, the highest quality slices can land on your doorstep – or rather in your stomach – at lighting speed. The range of flavours knows no boundaries: classic protein bars… muesli bars… seed bars… (like Protein Nuts).

Beyond of the hills of the protein slices, what else is hidden in this amazing 22 000 square metre factory?

Only machines that meet pharmaceutical standards (expectations) can be used to make capsules and tablets in the factory. Each of these machines can produce 100 000 capsules per hour and is fully automated. Amix only sells hard gelatine capsules and vegetarian capsules.  The fillling and packaging of the capsules is also a result of a fully automated process.

Every hour 8 000 liquid-filled ampoules can roll of the production line, also fully automated by a machine that first disinfects, then fills, then seals and finally labels.

In addition to their huge factory, they have opened a new production and transport unit, which has another objective: to innovate by creating new products and improvising existing ones.

As you can see, the Amix factories never stop, the machines are humming and the power is on. Now I think that all readers are now beginning to wonder one question: how environmentally damaging is this whole industry? But at Amix, we are not only concerned about our health, we are also concerned about the environment! That’s why the energy needs of the factories are predominantly supplied by renewable energy sources.

2. Raw materials

AmixTM Nutrition supplements are made only from quality certified raw materials. This guarantees consistent quality and pharmaceutical purity of the products. This work with over forty certified raw material manufacturers from all over the world. You can find more information about this on Amix website.

AmixTM Nutrition’s manufacturing processes themselves have a number of quality assurance certifications. See the certificates at the end of this article.

Amix also excels in the market for quality and ingredients. This gives the customer confidence, as there is no more important factor when buying a nutritional supplement.

Amix products are present in more than 45 countries and process 10 tons (!!) of raw material every day.

3. Logistics

A fully automated warehouse has been installed in the newly opened Amix logistics centre. To keep up with the ever-increasing demand, a fully automated Jungehnheinrich goods loader replaces the work of human hands - quickly, efficiently and with maximum reliability.

Thanks to fully automated processing, manufacturing and warehousing technologies. Product is produced, stored and dispatched with speed and precision.

PRODUCTS

The perfect fulfillment of the three points above results in perfect products such as: a complete range of muscle building proteins… unique and complex amino acids to fill deficiences and enhance performance…multivitamins… other plant and animal nutrients to complement sports nutrition.

The best Amix products available at Vitamin360:

  • AMIX WHEY-PRO FUSION: A formulation containing whey protein concentrate and isolate with added digestive enzymes to achieve the perfect recipe for nourishing your muscles and sparing your tummy.
  • AMIX TRIBU-ZMA®: Testosterone booster: with cherry melon extract, optimally utilizable zinc, magnesium and Vitamin B6. The combination of these four active ingredients can effectively help restore optimal testosterone levels, but only when levels are actually low. 1-3
  • AMIX CREATINE MONOHYDRATE: The traditional power booster creatine is now one of the best value for money on the market. Creatine can effectively help boost your energy levels for short duration exertions such as sprints, relay running, strength sports, calisthenics (street workouts) and martial arts. In short, you can benefit from it in any sport that relies in whole or in part on short, intense exertion. Think of ball games; sudden jumps and sudden speed; creatine helps you get the most of these and similar loads.4-6 And if we are stronger overall, it will mean muscle gain due to the principle of progressive overload, so creatine can also indirectly help build muscle. In short the concept of progressive overload: in order for the muscles to develop, the body must be subjected to a greater load each time, and the same amount of load will not cause development.
  • AMIX BEEF AMINO (550 TABLET): Beef is slowly becoming exotic in the average person’s kitchen. And the amino acid composition of beef proteins differs from the amino acid profile of conventional chicken, pork and cow’s milk. For example, beef has a higher L-taurine content, and L-taurine can help regenerate your muscles as a powerful antioxidant (complementing the effects of other amino acids).8 Not least, most sources associate red meat consumption with a risk of cardiovascular disease due to its high saturated fatty acid content.7 A cost-effective and fat-free solution is the use of amino acid supplements derived from beef.
  • AMIX OPTI-PACK OSTEO-FLEX (30 PACKETS): One of the most complex joint protection products on the market. And for joint protection, it is particularly important to supplement a wide range of nutrients that regenerate joints and tendoms. Amix Osteo-Flex is not satisfied with glucosamine alone. It contains a further 18 active ingredients (many of them in extremely high quantities).
  • AMIX ANABOLIC MASSTER™ (2200 G, VANILLA): More than your average bulking agent. In addition to the protein and carbohydrate combination: high in a formula high blood-abundance-enhanching amino acids (namely: AAKG, L-arginine and L-citrulline), so you can use it to boost your feeling of „being bulked up”. Also, the high concentration of L-taurine and L-tyrosine can further boost your strength levels. The added herbal extracts can optimize your testosterone levels. Anabolic Masster also has digestive enzymes to relieve the burden on your stomach.
  • AMIX MR. POPPER'S® RICEMASH® (1500 G, CHOCOLATE COCUNUT): Delicious, quick to prepare rice porridge. No more cooking for you!
  • AMIX EXCLUSIVE PROTEIN BAR (12 X 85G, MOCHA CHOCO & COFFEE): The most prominent is the Amix protein brand line. Their protein content is not the highest, but one slice: 365 kcal! A big portion and delicious (you can currently choose from 8 different flavours). It can even be included in a diet (as long as you can fit in a little sugar).
  • AMIX TIGGER® ZERO BAR (20 X 60G, VANILLA & CARAMEL): If your diet doesn’t include sugar and you’re looking for a higher protein sweet, you won’t be disappointed. In 3 different flavours!
